BACKGROUND STORY
Nitta Kouhei 新田倖平, lovingly nicknamed Niko, dreams of ordinary life. One where he's raised by a loving family, a romantic partner to cause mischief together, and an exciting job.He has the last one, sure, by working with a shady old man who (in his words) dabble in the supernatural and occult, which is the reason why he built カフェ DUSK for all sorts of people to relax and do their business—except for the fact that Niko works the café alone.The reason for that? Niko can't die (as far as he knows).
He grew up with his paternal grandparents in their old home. A deadly accident claimed him and left him in a near-vegetative state, but somehow, he managed to crawl back to life, albeit with long period of recuperation.Several other accidents left him with the same outcome. Sensei found him during one of his run-ins with such accidents, and scares him with tales of not being able to live normally—before offering him the job.
Have died a total of 17 times!

Sensei's existence and person is shrouded in mystery. Niko knows all about him, though, just as Sensei knows all about him. It's creepy and icky.Sensei normally brings otherworldly visitors to the café to solve their problems (or something like that, Niko doesn't want to know) and sometimes, maul the fuck out of Niko.Sometimes the pair commit atrocities together, gets out of it with a newfound appreciation toward life, and refuse to look at one another in the eye.

カフェ DUSK
is tucked in the corner between the residential and business district. Some believed that the café is out of business, because it never seem to open.The truth is: its business hour is 11 PM - 6 AM.Patrons include drunk business-person, those who work in red light district, and sometimes: those who aren't of this world.
The menu is standard, but the barista takes all sorts of request, as long as he has the ingredient.
